WLS Value System

In WLS’s value system, we believe general labor and the production workforce are the backbones of every manufacturing company and every organization that depends on its labor source to produce. WLS also feels that an adequate wage is warranted without prejudice of education, class, or background. We believe that “If you support the base (labor and production source), the company grows stronger together.” WLS has witnessed countless companies saving on production labor by paying workers the lowest; in essence, causing a high turnover in employment.

WLS feels without production the company cannot survive. Paying the general labor and production area at a higher rate is valuable and should be considered greatly. This will reduce higher turnovers and reduce suppression of each employee’s growth and financial status. Keeping production workers at a minimal pay range makes it more difficult for production laborers to survive in today’s economy, which also forces production workers to continuously look elsewhere for opportunities for employment. Higher turnovers cost a company enormous sums of money, time, and resources.

WLS also sees the value in production labor as more labor-intensive than most clerical positions. However, many clerical positions are awarded a higher pay rate while requiring the same level of education as the production laborer. WLS understands that without the production labor force, there would be no clerical positions available.
